GPR'96 Guideline to Presenters September 30 - October 3, 1996 Sendai, Japan 6th International Conference on Ground Penetrating Radar 1. Schedule of Papers Enclosed is the schedule of the papers showing the sessions, date and time of each paper. This program is subject to change. Please check the final program in the registration bag at the conference. 2. Oral Presentation Most oral presentations (except plenary sessions) will be conducted in two parallel sessions. Each presentation (with the exception of Plenary session speakers) will last no longer than 15 minutes with 5 minutes allocated for questions. The working language of this conference is English. Presentations are to be in English. A speaker can use two overhead projectors or two 35mm slide projectors for presentation and two screens. A VHS video projector will be available on request. The speaker must contact to the technical chairman before 16 September if the video is needed. A speaker must indicate the name of the speaker and method of presentation (OHP / 35mm Slides / VHS Video) at the registration desk. Before the allocated session begins, the speaker must be checked at the desk at the conference room. Trays for 35mm slide projectors will be provided at the conference. The speaker must insert slides into the trays by themselves and hand in at the desk at the conference room before the allocated session starts. 3. Poster Presentation The allocated space for each poster will be 120cm (height) by 180cm (width). The poster board is a flat cork board and posters can be attached by tape or pins which will be provided. Time slots for poster paper presentations will be allocated after the oral sessions on 30 September and 1 October. Presenters should be located beside their poster during the poster sessions. All the papers may be presented on the board throughout the conference. (This rule was changed from the guideline to the authors which we sent in May.) Preparation of posters should be done in the morning of the 30. September. Please note that the conference rooms will be closed on 29. September. Posters should be removed on 3. October. The organization committee will not send to authors any remaining material on the poster board after the conference is over.
