Distributed Data Base using VSAT

Through the VSAT system, we will test Oracle 8 for distributed data base. VSAT has a very long delay time for connection. We should study the properties of the network system for the construction and performance of the distributed data base system.

We are planning to use this system as a part of international collaborative study of the Bikal Lake with GIS center, SB RAS.
